Awkwafina
American musician and actor Awkwafina debuted with sly songs that dealt with sexual identity and race with a an incisive and humorous perspective, before increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants as well as Koreans. She also received the classical and jazz education later delving into hip-hop as a teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism, and women's studies at college, even learning Mandarin in Beijing for a time. The focus changed to music once she completed her degree. The song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in the year 2012. It was eventually included on the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. In the year 2018, her breakout role was in Dude Ocean's 8 along with Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
